May the forth be with you

Friday 5/4 Day 14
I wake up another day and have a long conversation with Jennifer about gardening and education. I turns out that she has a phd in Physics. I realized that most of the people that I have stayed with on my trip have had master or phd's. I don't know why that came up maybe bikers have high educations haha. She did give me some advice which was don't go get more schooling unless need to due to the expenses. I agree totally with her because I can save some money, time, and I can get real experience in he world rather than book experience. Well the morning was short and I ate some breakfast and said my goodbyes. They had a great location outside Spokane, close to Idaho and at the same time close to many outdoor areas. Did it seem like an area I would ever like to live in but it was nice to see.
Today my goal is to slowly make my way back into Idaho to a state park called Farragut state park. The park is pretty big, up on a lake, and it used to be a us naval base to train sailors in WW2 and during the 40's the base was considered the largest city in Idaho.
It was nice to go at a slower pace today, I stopped at a few cafes for coffee and took a nap at a historical site and still road 40 miles and made camp by five. Had a chance to read a lot today, to much.
Tonight was another ninja camping job. Even though 90% of the camping in the park was closed they would not let me put my tent up in one of hose locations for free or for any cheaper than 12$. Haha so I went across the street and put my tent up behind some trees. It was great because where I camped was further away from civilization than any other camp ground in the park. It really disappoints me that it is so hard to find cheap camping. The camping at the state park starts at 12$ for camp sites with out any bathrooms or water, just a spot to put your tent. 22$ for bathrooms and water; to me that is ridiculous. I do understand that parks need to be taken care of but there could be cheaper ways for people to use the land that don't need as much. Haha I'm just complaining and cheap. The moral of the story is the I can find a better place to stay for free while camping or continue to ninja camp when I have to. it does add to my entertainment and improvement in stealth capabilities.
The spot I was at was great except I found a few areas with bear poop. So I was super careful with my food. Made sure to sleep like 90 yards away from the food, made sure it was hung, and made sure I had no smelly stuff in my tent. The sad thing was as I was cooking my dinner my pot fell over and my pasta poured onto the ground. Haha terrible bear prevention tactics. Oh well I picked up most the food and dug a hole for the food I could not get up. Needless to say I survived the night so it worked.

I was able to finish the first book of the hunger games and started the second after dinner and wrapped up the night chatting with Garrette. As I fell asleep my thoughts and worries revolved around the animals that could be outside my tent. I love this environment and I wish I was a bit more prepared for the animals if I came in contact with them.
